Orbix Articulator
See also:Vertical Lock Slotted Model Adapter Articulator
Stop bending and get real motion with Orbix.
If you have to bend your articulator to get functional motions then you may
not be getting real motions. Look carefully as you try to move edge-to-edge (if
you can!) Can you keep the posterior teeth in balanced occlusion as you do this?
And if your articulator is flexible how can it have vertical accuracy? The patented
Cenloc TM feature of the Orbix allows for two distinct modes of operation: a precise
and rigid centric mode and released, a functional mode that provides true linear
protrusive motions. Try a no-compromise Orbix on your next case and you may find
that occlusal adjustments have become a thing of the past. We're so sure you'll
love the results, we guarantee it.
![]() The orbix vertical locks are to be placed over each joint as shown to restrain any lateral or vertical
linear motion in the joints of the articulator. Keep a pair at each bench and slide them on whenever you
want extra vertical and centric stability. This is especially useful when you are working on a critical
free-end case. For super stability use the locks on a case with the orbix mounted in the wide
configuration (see separate instruction sheet for wide mounting.)
Note: to make it easier to keep the pair together, drill a hole in each one (see above) and tie the pair together with a short length of string.
