When basing the models try to avoid large
angular differences in the gluing channels.
Trim back surfaces of upper and lower cast and
hold in correct occlusal registration to check
that the cast backs are trimmed approximately
parallel to each other (retrim if required). Then
align these back surfaces of the cast with back
of base former when setting cast into former. |

Make sure each joint of the articulator is in proper
centric position and the latch on each is fully locked.
(see operation instructions for locking).
Hold or affix the models in proper occlusion. Place
one half of the orbix articulator in the cylindrical
channel of one model. Hold this half of the articulator
with one finger as shown leaving the other half of the
Articulator free of the other channel. |

With your other hand place the free half of the
articulator into the other channel and move this
free end side to side within this channel to fully
engage this half. When both halves are fully engaged
you may then slide the whole articulator within
both channels to center the articulator on the
casts. Make sure both cylinders of the articulator
are fully seated in the channels before gluing. |

Allow models to dry at room temperature
before gluing. Hold the models with their
backs facing upwards and apply glue only at
points 1 & 2 until you see the joint is completely
filled at points 3 & 4. Apply the glue before
spraying accelerator. Hold the accelerator
bottle 6-8" (15-20 cm) from models and spray the
exposed adhesive. Allow 10 minutes curing time. |
